I began my journalism career writing for the college newspaper. I've spent the past 16 years as a broadcast journalist as a staff reporter, anchor/reporter, and bureau chief at three Northern California television stations. For the past five years I reported for ABC7News/KGO in San Francisco. I'm currently working on a variety of projects with a day job in university media relations.
The intent of this blog is to provide an intelligent exchange of ideas -- about the industry, current headlines, the role of today's journalist.
I revel in working a story and continuing our shared mission to be the storytellers of news, trends, people's experiences -- and their relevance to life and humanity.
